Today we corrected the driveway question on excel. A benefit for excel if you make a mistake earlier in the question just change it and it changes everything.

Today we started class with a mock test about sequences/series & personal finance. We were allowed to use our calculators and spreadsheet templates.

Today we started out with mental math. Then we did a finance review question.

Today we started a new unit on personal finance. We did notes and a practice question and learned how to work stuff on our calculators.

today we worked on sequence questions to hand in as a test.

Today was a work period. Tomorrow we show two sequence questions we did and they count as a test. Also Mr. Maksymchuk told us about the Blackboard Learning System and put a link for it on the class blog.

We started with mental math today. After we went over different ways to do a sequence question and then 5 questions were assigned.

Today in class we had a substitute teacher Mr. Penner. In class we did our matrix tests and it was difficult.

There is a test tomorrow so today we did preparations for it. We are allowed a formula sheet.
